Covid pandemic chance to reset systems and become global suppliers, states Baba Kalyani

Baba Kalyani, Chairman, Bharat Forge in discussion with Nabeel A Khan, Editor, ET Automobile stated that producers over the world are reassessing their supply chains in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is a great opportunity for India to gain global management in supplying to numerous industries while also ending up being self-dependent. He was speaking on International Supply Chain in Post Covid-19 World at ET Global Townhall.

I believe FY21 will be much better than FY20 but I do not believe it will return to FY19 levels which was probably the peak level in all the markets. The Indian CV market was at 461,000-470,000.
